IBEW Local 26 Vice-President Larry R. Greenhill, Sr., (l) received the Truman Award from the Charles County Democratic Central Committee last Saturday night. Like award namesake Harry Truman, the Truman Award is given to a Democrat who has taken a stand for what is right, regardless of the popularity -- or unpopularity -- of that stance. The award was presented by the Southern Maryland Delegation and the Charles County Commissioners. Also present were Maryland Lt. Governor Anthony Brown, Comptroller Peter Franchot, Congressional Representatives Steny Hoyer, Donna Edwards and Elijah Cummings.
