The Electrical Workers Minority Caucus Executive Committee is announcing a vacancy on the executive committee. In accordance with Article VII Section 10 of the National Operating Bylaws, as amended by the delegates at the 2018 National Conference, we are notifying all EWMC members of this vacancy. Please take note of the attachments to this notification. The applicable article and sections are listed. Interested EWMC members are encouraged to apply. Applications should include the member’s name, local union number, and the date you became a member of the EWMC. Those expressing interest should also include any skills they possess relevant to the position (e.g. computer proficiencies) as well as previous experience and any references. To be considered, you must complete and submit the attached Candidate Questionnaire form no later than midnight PST December 20th, 2019. Applicants should consider that the responsibilities of an EWMC Executive Committee member can be very challenging. Currently executive committee members are charged with supporting their assigned chapter(s) in addition to their other duties. Consequently, strong time management skills are required. Mandatory Executive Committee meetings take place at 11 AM ET on the third Saturday of each month. These meetings typically last about an hour and fifteen minutes.
