The 35th National Leadership Conference is from January 16-19, 2025 at the Hyatt Regency St. Louis at the Arch in St. Louis, Missouri. The conference theme is EWMC: Evolving to Embrace Tomorrow. We will meet to address pressing challenges, explore new opportunities for growth, best practices, and strategies to expand EWMC’s vision and goals.
Sometimes that growth includes changes to our National Bylaws. According to Bylaws Article IX Section 1 “These Bylaws may be amended by any member (s) of the EWMC, if the member submits at least thirty (30) days prior to any national meeting the signed proposed amendment with their contact information to the Secretary. The Resolution Committee shall prepare copies of the proposed amendment(s) and provide the copies to the members at the national meeting before the final vote is taken.” According to that language all changes are required to be submitted no later than 11:59 PM EST December 17, 2024. Any submission(s) after this date and time will not be considered at our 35Th National Leadership Conference.
Submissions are required to be submitted to the Secretary at jamellthrower.ewmc@gmail.com. All timely submissions will be passed along to the Bylaws Committee. They will review and submit their recommendations to the body for a vote. A copy of the National Operating Bylaws are attached for your reference.
At this time the window to submit changes to the Bylaws have closed. No more submissions will be accepted. We thank those who chose to submit, and we have passed your submission on to the Bylaws and Resolution Committee as prescribed in our National Operating Bylaws.
