Greetings Sisters, Brothers, and Siblings,

I am writing this letter on behalf of the EWMC Executive Committee. The EWMC Executive Committee is announcing the election for officers at the 2025 EWMC National Conference. Our conference will be held in St. Louis, MO. The conference theme is “EWMC: Evolving to Embrace Tomorrow”. The conference will be held at the Hyatt Regency St. Louis at the Arch from January 16, 2025 through January 19, 2025. Officers will be nominated and elected for the EWMC and EWMC-RENEW. According to Article VII Section 7 of the National Operating Bylaws I have appointed Sixth District International Representative Joe Davis as the election judge along with a sufficient number of tellers to conduct the election.

According to the National Operating Bylaws Article VII Section 5 M. Members must be an EWMC National member for a minimum of two (2) years to stand for office or to be appointed to office.

According to the EWMC-RENEW Bylaws Article VI Section 4 A. You must have attended at least 2 EWMC National conferences.  

The Election Judge will make an announcement Thursday, January 16, 2025 at the opening session on the rules and procedure regarding the election. Nominations will be held Friday morning, January 17, 2025 with elections held on Saturday, January 18, 2025 from 8am – 12pm CT.

This year there will be a voter pamphlet with candidates listed in the pamphlet. Electronic copies will be available to the delegates. This will require all EWMC/EWMC-RENEW candidates to submit their photo (optional) and questionnaire in a timely manner (no later than 11:59pm ET on Tuesday, January 7, 2025) to Election Judge Joe Davis at Joe_Davis@ibew.org. All EWMC-RENEW candidates must submit their photo (optional)and questionnaire to EWMC-RENEW Judge Kelly Foster at Kelly_Foster@ibew.org.
